I know that there has been some additional confusion as to how to follow this blog. Just to clear up, you need to enter your email address before clicking “Follow,” and following this blog is free, so you shouldn’t be asked to pay or create a wordpress account.

Broccoli Rabe Pesto freezes well. We liked it so much I made a double batch and had the other half today on nice crispy Italian bread. No cooking today. It was just great!

I stay away from the sweets on your blog, though they look wonderful. Will try the Kale salad as soon as I get to the store this week. Looking forward to it. The website looks great pictures provide healthy temptation. Thanks

BTW, you can also post a comment on the recipe pages if you’d like. Two ways to do it – 1st at the top of each recipe there is a tiny “leave a comment” bubble, click on this OR you can access each recipe individually under the “Recipes” tab at the top of the screen, click on this and then select a recipe and at the bottom of the recipe you’ll find a window to write your comments. I love all your comments, so feel free to write anytime! Thanks.

I was too lazy to make pancakes with your oatmeal pumpkin recipe……so I turned it into a bowl of oatmeal with pumpkin, brown sugar and spices in it. Was pretty good, but can use some work….left out the flour and baking soda etc. Beets were excellent. We use fresh lemon and olive oil, sea salt on our green lettuce salads frequently. I am the one mandated to bring it to almost all family gatherings. Its been in our family ever since I can remember. The garlic in your dressing added a new dimension that I have never used. It was perfect for a heavy veggie like beets. Lentil salad turned out very well….I doubled the dressing and warmed the whole thing up to absorb the extra flavor. Kale was over the top wonderful. I had to blanch the green kale since I did not have the one you suggested in the house. I love it when I can keep salads a day or two in the fridge. That means good food without any work over the weekend. YUM!!!!!!! and healthy. Great going Jen…..and thank you!!!!!!!!

Thanks again Carol for all your wonderful comments. I am really happy the recipes are working out well for you. Obviously I think all the recipes I post are delicious, but it’s really nice to hear that others think so too! I like your style with the pumpkin added right into your oatmeal, I’ve also added cooked sweet potato to my oatmeal, similar flavor to pumpkin and really good. The beets with lemon and olive oil is one of my favorites and I’m actually a little bit happy about the fact that no one in my house will eat it, more for me 😉
